Ruth Foster is a PhD student in Religious Studies at Yale University, specializing in Jewish Studies with a secondary field in Religion and Modernity. She is interested in questions of religion, nationalism, and ‘the secular’ in modernity, focusing on Jewish-Christian relations in Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to her studies at Yale, Ruth earned an MPhil in Modern European History from Cambridge University, an MTS from Harvard University - where she was a Frank Knox Memorial Fellow - and an MA in Religious Studies from the University of Edinburgh.
