Hannah Stork

Hannah Stork

Hannah studies the interactions between various Near Eastern Christian populations and the first Muslim communities in Late Antiquity, focusing on the assorted processes of identity construction at work in those interactions. She is especially interested in the place of language and the role of multilingualism and language contact in the development of philosophies of language and the conception of holy languages in interreligious, multicultural contexts.
