Hannah Baz-Garza

Hannah Baz-Garza

Hannah’s scholarly interests lie in the textual transmission processes of the New Testament and its impact/influence in American history. Specifically, she is interested in how hermeneutical decisions affect the highly technical transmission and translation of the text, which effectively constructs the New Testament. She explores how these interpretive processes and hermeneutical decisions have played a large role in American public life and imagination. Hannah holds a BA in Bible and Text from Abilene Christian University and an MAR in New Testament from Yale Divinity School.
