Christine studies racial capitalism as theological-ethical concern in the practice of Christianity. Her research draws from Black studies and critical thought to inform an approach to ethical inquiry which confronts the predatory nature of racial capitalism.
Christine holds a BS in Human Development and Psychological Services from Northwestern University, a Masters of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and a Masters of Theological Studies from McCormick Theological Seminary.
Prior to beginning doctoral study at Yale, Christine’s career included leadership in hospital administration, federally qualified health centers, and faith-based nonprofit organizations.
