The Gerber Fund was endowed in memory of Kenneth A.Gerber, a former graduate student in the Department, to facilitate greater communication and interaction between the Fields of Study in the Department of Religious Studies. Mr. Gerber’s family and friends started the memorial fund to support greater interaction among graduate students across the many fields. Sponsored events include peer-to-peer dissertation presentations, professionalization workshops, discussions of topical issues in the study of religion, and the much-beloved annual bowling night. Graduate students may propose an event any time they wish to Steven Fraade.
