Event description:

Russell Jeung, Professor of Asian American Studies at San Francisco State University, is an immigrant rights activist, evangelical leader, and author of At Home in Exile: Finding Jesus among My Ancestors and Refugee Neighbors. As the numbers, influence, and institutions of the Christian church in the U.S. wane, what are important approaches for church leaders, including Asian American theologies and spiritual practices, that offer ways to refine the church and promote new types of leadership? How can care for our refugee neighbors play an essential role in faith and social witness and how can decolonized perspectives revitalize the church?
