Event description:

We invite you to join 2019 World Fellow Nizam Uddin and 2017 World Fellow Abdul-Rehman Malik for this intimate and uplifting evening in exploration of Islam’s living spiritual traditions. The event eclectically brings together Peter Sanders (UK), the world’s pre-eminent photographer of the Muslim world who began his career in the 1960s as one of London’s leading rock and roll photographers that included timeless iconic images of Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones; Michael Sugich (USA), author of ‘Signs on the Horizons’ and native of Santa Barbara, California who was first initiated into a traditional Sufi order in 1971; and the Al Firdaus Ensemble (Granada, Spain), a multi-cultural Sufi music group based in Granada that revives the peaceful, spiritual poetry and melodies of the Alhambra.
