Jazz Concert: Dwight Andrews and His Band

Acclaimed jazz musician and music scholar Dwight Andrews ’77 M.Div., ’93 Ph.D. will perform with his band in celebration of the YDS Bicentennial. Among his many music credits, Dr. Andrews provided the music direction for the Tony-nominated Broadway revival of Raisin in the Sun. His work has been presented at professional theatres throughout the United States and Great Britain. Specializing in woodwinds, Andrews has played on more than 25 jazz and new music albums.
