Event description:

Drawing attention to the parables of the Gospels, particularly Luke’s focus on wealth and stories about Samaritans, Donahue argues that an attention to biblical justice could profoundly change the values and practices of Christians today.

Throughout his life and scholarship, John R. Donahue has always been interested in exploring definitions and applications of biblical justice. In his most recent book -Seek Justice that You May Live: Reflections and Resources on the Bible and Social Justice- he explores how biblical perspectives on justice can help today’s struggles for social justice.
