Event description:
On January 18, Dr. Marla Frederick will take part in a panel commemorating the 20th anniversary of her book Between Sundays: Black Women and Everyday Struggles of Faith. Todne Thomas of the YDS faculty will make opening and closing remarks. The panelists are: Judith Casselberry (Bowdoin College), R. Marie Griffith (Washington University St. Louis), Mary Moschella (YDS), and Leonard McKinnis (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign). The panel will be held in RSV from 12:15 p.m. to 2 p.m., with 45 minutes allotted for Q&A with students. Lunch will be served. RSVP to lynn.haversat@yale.edu
