What would it be like preaching Jesus through postcolonial imagination? In her Beecher Lectures, “Preaching Jesus: Postcolonial Approaches,” Eunjoo Mary Kim will engage in conversation around this question, tackling the Christological themes emerging from the liturgical seasons. She will examine the white middle-class Eurocentric norms in preaching Jesus and reformulate theological and homiletical frameworks from postcolonial perspectives to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ relevant to our contemporary world.
