The Yale Seminar in Religious Studies will hold its third meeting on Monday, February 25 at 4pm, 451 College, B-04. Elli Stern and Tisa Wenger will host a discussion on themes and questions that animate their work in common. Attached are two brief readings to ground the discussion on ‘Minorities, Capitalism, and Freedom’: K. Marx, “On the Jewish Question” (1843) and S. Mahmood, “Minority Rights and Religious Liberty: Itineraries of Conversion” Religious Difference in a Secular Age: A Minority Report (2016). Come to compare, debate, and critique!
